Twenty Years Old and Afraid of the Dark, 2012.
Twenty Years Old and Afraid of the Dark is a book of voyeuristic images of windows at night. The images in the book are silver gelatin prints which were hand mounted with photo corners. This book is an art object meant to suggest an obsession, and yet a fear, of the unknown. It is also meant to document the consequences of an unfulfilled desire for human connection in today’s isolated, digital society.
